Gates of Heaven

The Gates of Heaven swing wide open;

Songs of Joy fill every space.

"We've been waiting for you Brother,

Hurry up and take your place.

"There are others who are worthy

For whom we must still watch and wait.

Then the Resurrection Army

Will descend upon that date."

Joyful greetings meet our brother

As he joins the Heavenly Choir.

In praises sanctified and holy,

They call the Spirit as a Fire.

Our grief is worldly sorrow

That our brother cannot hear.

Our voices are more needed

To give encouragement and cheer.

For those who seek endowment,

There is power in Godly praise.

Let us join now with our brother,

As in song our voices raise.

Thou art Lord and have all glory,

Wisdom, knowledge, and great power.

With all honor, we behold Thee;

With great joy, we bless this hour.

Hallelujah, Holy Father,

We approach on bended knee;

Not to ask for any blessing

But to give ourselves to Thee.
